A city of patterns

I started this project with just the aim of heading out to the streets and capturing the moments flashing across my eyes. It was only with the passing of time and with retrospection that a pattern slowly emerged. It is funny how in life, we are always on the look out to identify patterns. There is something about patterns which is reassuring - that there is an emotional anchor, things are not as unpredictable as our Mind makes them out to be. This series of patterns in Tokyo could simply be a reflection of my inner urge for patterns, for stability and certainty amidst all the uncertainty.
