(Dead Flowers Requiem for the Climate) Climate change is the greatest environmental, economic and social challenge that we face. You can't see it when you look out your bedroom window. It's impacts are often not immediately noticeable, nor are the benefits of acting against it. We are like a group of people sitting in a boat, happily waving, taking pictures on the way, not knowing that this boat is floating right into a powerful and deadly waterfall. Plants, animals and insect species are exterminated one thousand times faster than the normal rate. Scientists talk of the largest mass death since the disappearance of the dinosaurs. Time is ticking, and we need to act now.
