FEELING The Mississippi Delta

I just spent several weeks in this area with camera in hand. I expected t find poverty in both black and white areas but was shocked to see the despair! With 70% unemployment, lack of educational funding, poor health care, hunger, addiction and alcoholism rampant. I could not stop thinking IS THIS AMERICA? Faces full of waiting. When will change come?
