Quote from Woody Allen, Manhattan These famous lines at the start of the movie "Manhattan" by Woody Allen could sum up this project called 8 AM in Midtown Manhattan. Everyday, around 8 AM, this neighborhood of Manhattan becomes a real live musical with the commuters/workers as the actors and the noisy cars, buses, taxis and construction sites for the music. In all these running people, these furious drivers, these unfazed traffic cops, if you look closely, you can see a show going on under the morning sun. This project is a timeless black and white ode to the people of New York, the ones who wake up at 6 AM to fight this everyday challenge of going to work in this beautiful, messy and emblematic Midtown neighborhood.
