Hamefarin - Homecoming

As my background opposite explains I like to explore in a socio-historic sense peoples relationship with where they live etc. The outer, remote islands of the British Isles, have suffered mass migration of peoples due to economic and political pressures. Many abandoned crofts and cottages lie testament to this. I've long been fascinated by this history, of migration and recently the need for these people and their descendants to stay connected with the "old" country.
