UNESCO bid 2016

The Lake District National Park in the north west of England has bid for and is hosting UNESCO representatives in the park's bid for World Heritage Site certification. I have set out to challenge the typical landscape and schmaltzy fudge-box cliched images so oft' associated with the national park; I somehow doubt these black and white images will make it into the park's bid literature. Some 45,000 people work within the park, which is approximately 38 x 32 miles in size and hosts up to 16 million visitors each year.
