Dysrhythmia

Dysrhythmia is a long-term investigation of São Paulo's street carnival, one of the world's largest popular celebrations. At Carnival, “dysrhythmia” creates a striking break in rhythm and movement, resulting in an intense heart rate oscillation. Sometimes, this culminates in exaltation, while at other times, it suffers from disturbance and disillusionment in the melancholy streets of the concrete metropolis. In this symbolic universe, rich in meanings, the profusion of sounds, colors, and details creates a poetic and contagious melody.
