This series is the result of a succession of manipulations. A first digital print is made in black and white on paper bouffant. The support is then moistened and the image is reworked by multiple friction. The paper is then pressed to tighten its fibers. A shot is taken and a photographic print concludes the process.
Through this process, a world is revealed and a narrative is set up. Bodies evaporate, meadows disappear and fruits dry up. In some places the image fades, its texture is altered like the parts of shadows of our unconscious. This world seems to be just a memory, the last traces of an abandoned land, the last vestiges of a paradise in black and white.
