Hillover is a photographic study of landscape surface and memory reflecting on the unique quality of light color and form that exists on the eastern edge of Long Island. The series explores the intersection of people with nature and how our view over a period of time evolves. The series begins in a home that has housed four generations of family and then moves outward to the very end of the island. The family home feels frozen in time, with details that are fixed as the years roll past. The landscape is shown as place of refuge as well as personal memory.
