Monologue Intérieur

I'm looking for an underlying layer, subtext. The inner monologue is often associative, thoughts, moods and feelings come and go. In source of the soul, it is an inquiry, is it my own soul, the soul of the other or ultimately the soul of the viewer that is reflected in the image?
