The Beach

I am drawn to photographing people when they are at their most relaxed and unguarded. I also love the summer. So among my favorite places to photograph are the beach and boardwalk. The unbridled energy, the sunlight and color, and the unabashed joy of the crowds draw me in. I return as often as I can to the beaches and boardwalks in NYC (Coney Island, in particular) and the New Jersey shore.
