Invisible Cities

Abstract geometric sets inspired by Italian magical realist writer Italo Calvino. Slightly mysterious and dreamy, these sets create a sense of a place. Like in the book of Italo Calvino “ Invisible cities”, China's emperor sends Marko Polo to describe cities of far away lands in his kingdom, and they all sound so real, yet so fantastical. I send myself to search for places in memories and fantasies to imagine how else the physical world could be seen.
