Dark Times

Sondrio, Northern Italy, Spring 2020. Dark times. I live in a place where covid_19 has hit hard. People are slowly trying to return to normal, but what can be perceived in the air is a feeling of mistrust mixed with fear, what before seemed a certainty is now no longer so. Many times people ask for help, but everything has changed. Social distancing as well as a law is becoming an unconscious habit. It is also difficult to be able to help. Dark times. I was looking for a way to convey with photography what I perceive in many people I meet on the street: discomfort, distrust, lost looks and distancing, self-isolation. Especially in older people, who have seen and experienced so much with their own eyes and mind. I hope I have been able and above all I hope that all this will change soon.
