Late For the Ball

In "Late For the Ball", I follow my models as they move through urban and country spaces in unlikely evening gowns. The series alludes to fashion, as well as to the fairy tales and rags-to- riches stories my friends and I grew up with. I often think of these as sequences which evoke anxiety dreams where you are dressed for an event, yet can't quite reach your destination. I am always chasing beauty, creating it if it isn’t there, and I like the tension between the magical and the mundane.
