About Takayuki Nakamura

 February.17.1988
Born in Hyogo (Japan) Based Nara

He is a photographer originally from Japan. He studied modern art history at a graduate school in Japan and earned a master's degree in art history with a thesis on the theme of “War and Art.”
While enrolled in graduate school, he encountered Japan's oldest photography group, the Naniwa Photo Club (founded in 1903), and became a member. Although self-taught in photographic technique, his style and approach to photography were influenced by the club's predecessors: Nakaji Yasui, Kiyoshi Koishi, and Yoho Tsuda.
Much of his work as a photographer is committed to the field of Japanese culture, including covering ikebana, traditional Japanese performing arts, craft artists, and photographing kimono.
