Maud Delaflotte is a french documentary photographer. Her work offers an insight into seemingly compartmentalized worlds. She photographs isolated communities, seeking to explore cultural and economic realities that are difficult to access. Her objective is to shed light on the codes and values that define what it is to belong to minority groups. This continuing theme has been the impetus behind several photographic reports, exploring facets of French identity through the prism of immigration, native American’s quest, access to African billionaires, and more recently, the struggle of Saudi women for emancipation. She has worked for Figaro Magazine, Le Monde, Washington Post, Der Spiegel. She was a finalist Women Photograph Grants 2024 and IWPA grant 2023.
