Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, my journey began in the field of communications taking a journalism course at the university. But it was after having my photo published in the culture section of a major Brazilian newspaper that I realized my path lay not in words, but in images.
While photographing underground MC battles, I developed an eye for human expression. The following years, I had the opportunity to work as an assistant to fashion and advertising photographers, an experience that solidified my technical foundation and broadened my vision for portraiture. This allowed me to explore different styles and gain an understanding of the inner workings of photography. Over time, I felt the need to develop my own voice. Which resulted in the ongooing project "Under the Sun", where I was able to register the faces of the hard workers from the beaches of Rio.
