Jamie Fyson Howard is a British photographer who has lived among various Slavic tribes since 1994, picking up their languages, customs and quirks—sometimes willingly.
Over more than a decade, he has earned international acclaim in street photography. Including 1st place in National Geographic Poland’s 2024 “People” category, Eyeshot Open Call finalist (2025) and Moment Street Photo Awards finalist (2024, 2019). He has been a finalist and exhibited at major festivals in Brussels, London, San Francisco, Miami, Warsaw, Krakow, Białystok and in the Leica Street Photo and International Fine Art Photography Awards, taking 1st place in the ISPA Street Photo of the Year, Tanzania (2014); Urban Photography Awards, Trieste (2012); and Luminance Photo Festival, New York (2012).
