Originally from Jacksonville Florida, i moved to Atlanta in 1984 where in high school i discovered my love for photography. I then went on to study at the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia.
Out of college i began working as personal custom darkroom printer and photo consultant for Michael Stipe of R.E.M. for 8 years.
Then in 2000 I took the leap and opened my own full time studio, shooting commercial work and editorial work for publications all over the southeast.
I still call Athens my home as I split my time between Athens, Atlanta and Savannah, shooting commercial work and diving deep into my personal Black and White portrait projects throughout the south.
