Enrico Doria was born in Palermo in 1978.
He holds a PhD in Genetics and Biomolecular Sciences at the University of Pavia.
Passionate about photography since he was a child, he started shooting with his father's Canon AT1; his photographic journey began in 2004.
He has worked both on various personal and intimate projects, using 35mm film and medium format, and on reportage as well: he has documented the life of the Sinti community in Pavia; in South Africa, he recounted the post-apartheid social condition of both white and black populations; in southern Tunisia, he illustrated the territories and some of the living conditions of the population emerging from the Arab Spring; with his latest work he is investigating the issue of the sustainability of the agro-food system.
