Blagovesta Semkova (b. 1985, Plovdiv, Bulgaria) is a visual artist working with long-term photographic projects exploring intimacy, identity, and social invisibility.
Her work is rooted in personal experience, examining the intersection between private life and broader social realities.
Her ongoing project SON explores childhood, autism, and the transition into adolescence, focusing on fragile inner worlds and the limits of communication.
