A counterpose to many peoples’ idea of Street Photography.
What can you photograph on the street if there is no one on the streets?
Pyongyang, the capital city of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea), a truly stage place, where crowds only congregate for official military parades, these images go some way to perhaps showing the poverty and control exercised by Big Brother in this, the most secretive of countries on Earth.
Unsurprisingly, Street Photography is both actively discouraged and it is not tolerated.
