Mongolia has a tendency to be tarred with a fairly myopic brush, the most recent addition being that of eagle hunters in the far north west.
This series shows Mongolians at work, play and leisure, an unremarkable set and one that goes some way to illustrating a normal rhythm of lives which is, of course, the norm. Not every Mongolian is out conquering foreigners on horseback , hunting with eagles, herding goats, camels and yaks out in the Gobi Desert, even though upwards of perhaps two million people live in a ger, the traditional round tent, life is in many ways the same as any other, just a little different around the edges.
