In Bamberg, you’ll find one of the smallest theaters in the world. Instead of actors, marionettes take the stage. Puppeteer Maria Sebald brings them to life. "I want to take the audience into a world where they can no longer distinguish between reality and puppetry," she says. When she watches herself, she prefers to sit in the last row to avoid seeing the strings of the puppets.
