Embracing time

I take the video Demo by Herbert Grönemeyer as a starting point, giving myself into his music. And I surrender to the power that radiates from the movement of Polina Semionova´s dance. I try to capture and superimpose different frames, asking myself about time and our perception of it and, also, how the variable of time influences the art of Photography It is this variable that gives us the possibility of drawing time, of making its occurrence evident, or allows us to freeze it, facing us with the eternity of an instant. We struggle between trying to escape from its inexorable passage and that impetuous compulsion to seize it forever. But it is when we let our passions invade our souls and inhabit us, that we are able to transcend time and embrace it. In that embrace, we make it eternal. In that embrace it ceases to exist.
